Merciful God, ou= r Rock and our Redeemer, hear us as we confess our sin. We have again turned from You. We = worship idols of our own making; when temptation whispers to us we submit to its charm. Terry Stoops will conclude his service with us as our Interim Pastor on Sunday, August 10, 2008. As plans are finalized, informatio= n will be given to you concerning Nathan’s ordination and installation servi= ce.

PEACH FESTIVAL is coming up fast - Friday, August 22. Volunteers are needed to make pies= on Wednesday, August 20 from 8 a.m. – noon to roll pie bottoms and on Thursday, August 21 from 8 a.m. – noon to peel peaches for pies and r= oll the tops. Pies will be sold on Friday for $12.00. Let’= s make our goal of 100 pies! Your expertise is necessary!

YOUTH NEWS

Painting Day!   HS kids are invited to the church office on Tuesday, August 12 at 9:00 a.m. to paint our Sunday School room upstairs.

Canoe Trip <= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> will be held on Friday, August 15 for MS and HS = youth on the Allegheny River. We meet at church to leave at = 7:00 a.m. The boat trip sets o= ut from the Kinzua Dam and we will have picnic lunches and enjoy swimming along the way. Cost will be $14 per person fo= r 2 in a canoe, and $9 for 3 in a canoe. Sign up before August 12.
