O God, we come before You this day to ask forgiveness for our misgivings. Called to be courageous, we find our faith lacking. When asked to ta= ke steps of faith, we confess our complacency. By ignoring the example of Jesus Christ we stumble and speak harshly. You have shown us how You are a God to be trusted. Leading Your people, Yo= u have stayed by their side. PEACH FESTI= VAL is right around the corner . . . On Friday, August= 21 from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. Volunteers to staff the event are being recruited. See the sign = up sheets on the credenza in the Tarry and Talk area. Helpers for kitchen, peaches, setu= p and cleanup and the dining room are needed.&nb= sp; People everywhere are looking forward to this flavor-filled fun festival! Please remember to plan to donate some of your home baked goodies to the bake sale which will be organized by Nancy Huggins.

CODY MOODY’S BOY SCOUT EA= GLE PROJECT   is to assist with the Tarry a= nd Talk Renovations. His scope i= s to move furniture, repaint the Tarry and Talk area, and raise money to help pay for the paint and additional furniture purchases. .

Building Renovation Update

Praise God to whom all blessings flow! A lot of progress has been made on our renovation plan. The Sanctuary is painted and carpe= ted and looks wonderful. Tarry &a= mp; Talk is also painted and carpet in Tarry & Talk, the hallway, and the R= ed Room will be installed beginning this Monday. Also, the ‘Red Room’ is painted and nearly complete. =

A BIG thank you to the many volunteers and committees = who had a hand in this project; it is even more beautiful with the work of our = own congregation!
