Welcome
 Home Up

Welcome to Mars United Presbyterian Church!

Or, as we affectionately like to call ourselves, MUP!  I am glad you are visiting our website and invite you to check us out on Sunday mornings
when we offer two opportunities for worship.  Our Fall, Winter and Spring worship services begin at 8:30am and 11:00am with Sunday School
at 9:45am.  A time of fellowship follows each service and continues on into Sunday School.  We have many discipleship and fellowship groups
which offer opportunities for all ages!  Some of these include singing in the choir, the A-Team, a new members’ class, Material Girls, middle and
high school age Youth Group, and our very own Peach Festival.  There is a place for YOU at MUP!

We strive to offer a worship experience that is Reformed, traditional, and meaningful for all ages.  Our Church is located in the small town of Mars, PA,
and offers the warmth and fellowship of a loving and supportive congregation.  We are also a growing congregation.  We routinely have visitors and
new members joining the Church who quickly find their place in our Church and contribute the life of our ministry.  With the addition of our full-time
Youth Director, Sean Brubaker, we are working to expand our current programs for children and youth.  Sean has a passion for God and for mission
along with amazing gifts and skills that he shares with our Church and our youth.  Since his arrival, we are able to provide more ministry opportunities
for youth, including Youth Group, recreation outings, and mission projects.

The more you get to know us, the more you will find out that our Elders and Volunteers are really the strength of our Church.  They ensure that the
Church meets the needs of the people and help them grow in their faith.  We have a hard working Session who meet monthly to provide guidance for
the ministries of the Church.  Our Board of Deacons cares for the people of the Church and contributes in so many ways from serving the Church to
visiting shut-ins and people in the hospital.  I also cannot say enough about our A-Team, Material Girls, Parent Volunteers, Kitchen Volunteers, and Office Staff.

This offers a glimpse of our Church, but stop in to find out for yourself and to experience first-hand the blessings of our Congregation.  You can reach us
by phone, email, or by stopping in the Church Office.  We love to serve, to fellowship (especially over a meal) and, most of all love God and people.

See you soon!

In Christ,
